Admission Tests:
1) SAT I
The SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) is mandatory for all applicants applying to the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities & Social Sciences (MGSHSS), Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL). SAT I Registration can be done online through the following link: https://www.collegeboard.org.
Applicants applying to the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) are required to take the following two admissions tests in order to be considered for admission:
SAT I & LUMS SBASSE Admissions Test are mandatory for all applicants applying to the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE).
All applicants must successfully submit their complete online admission application on or before January 30th, 2020, 5:00 pm (Pakistan Standard Time).
In order to be considered for the “First Round” of admissions applicants are required to take the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) latest by December 7, 2020.
SAT Preparation
The SAT Prep classes at Anees Hussain are ongoing throughout the year. The preparation covers the entire length of the SAT test content, and also includes full length test practice. Vocabulary and grammar building exercises are also included to ensure that students perform well in the sentence completions and sentence correction questions. 2) SBASSE Subject Test
In addition to SAT I subject knowledge in the area of Biology, Physics, Advanced Mathematics & Chemistry will also be evaluated through this test. Questions are designed to explore knowledge and skills acquired over a period of time. The test is designed to compare candidates with different academic backgrounds.
Difficulty Level: Admission Test is designed to determine the intellectual abilities of test takers. Questions will be at a difficulty level appropriate for students in the final year of A’ Levels/FSc./IB/HSD. They are typically Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), similar to the pattern used in SAT.LUMS SBASSE Admission Test is approximately two (2) hours long. Calculators are not allowed during the Admission Test.
LUMS reserves the right to use any test pattern that best meets its admission’s objectives. Instead of preparing for the test, we recommend getting a deep knowledge of fundamental principles and focusing on a good understanding of your school subjects.

Applicants residing outside Pakistan and currently studying or having completed their last year of schooling abroad are required to submit official results of the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) and at least 3 of the 4 SAT II subjects listed below:
– Biology-M
– Chemistry
– Mathematics II-C
– Physics
Applicants residing outside Pakistan and currently studying or having completed their last year of schooling abroad need to take all required SAT tests through the College Board, USA to be considered for admission. SAT scores must be reported to LUMS officially from the testing agency.
SBASSE Subject Test Preparation
The SSE Test Prep classes at Anees Hussain will start on 1st November. The preparation will cover the entire length of the SSE test content, and also includes full length test practice. The course is taught by subject experts in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology who ensure that students are adequately prepared for the actual SSE test. Applicants to the LUMS MBA program are assessed on the following criteria:
The Admissions Office will first review the applications to ensure that candidates meet the above requirements. After the review, the Admissions Committee will shortlist the candidates for interviews. The final decision will be taken after the interview.
Admission Test
For admission to the MBA program, a student must appear in the GMAT. At Anees Hussain, students are prepared on a regular basis for the GMAT, and many of our students have gained admission to LUMS. Our program includes interview preparation. If you want to prepare for the GMAT, call one of our centers now and appear in a free diagnostic test. All GMAT students are prepared on an individual basis, so you can join immediately. Ideal preparation time is 3 months.
